The Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica (BIVI) Health Management Center (HMC), located within
the Iowa State University Research Park in Ames, IA, is part of the BIVI Swine Division.
The Center consists of two teams:
- The diagnostic testing laboratory provides high quality testing services
of swine serum for the purposes of determining disease prevalence, detection, and profiling.
- The field research services group assists with the management of customer cases,
testing data, and production data. The field research services group also provides on-farm support of diagnostic
investigations and field trials conducted with BIVI account managers and field veterinarians.
The BIVI-HMC exists to provide services that support swine health and production solutions to our
customers throughout the pork chain. Delivery of our services is provided in conjunction with
BIVI Customer Representatives and Professional Services Veterinarians in the field.
